Dr. Kiepura’s Direct Primary Care Story

In our current healthcare system, the relationship between doctor and patient has eroded. Appointments are rushed. Sick visits are not available. Referrals to multiple specialists with no true coordinator of care anymore.

I found myself worrying more about what insurance would cover than worrying about what was best for a patient. I loved my time with patients but if I spent too much time with them I would get behind on charting and prior authorizations. This left me feeling exhausted and unfulfilled with little energy left for my family. I spent all day counseling others to prioritize their health but I was letting my own take a back seat.

I knew I had to do something different.

Somewhere along the way I was introduced to Direct Primary Care. It sounded too good to be true. So being the data driven decider I am, I signed up for a local conference to learn more. At DPC Masterminds I met about 40 DPC or soon to be DPC doctors. I had never been in a room of so many happy, passionate, fully alive doctors in years. By removing insurance and corporate interests, the heart of medicine re-emerged- the patient and their physician.

I want to take excellent, complete care of patients and I know patients are yearning for this too. I invite you to learn more about what makes Harbor Light Direct Primary Care different.
